The 14 team tournament concluded on Labor Day as the Bourne Division winners, Framingham Orioles defeated the Sagamore
Division champs, Top Hats 6-1 to capture the 2010 Championship. The Championship Game was played at Veterans Field in
Chatham under perfect conditions.
In the semi finals, the Orioles edged the Waltham Tides of the Boston Yawkey League 2-1. For the Framingham Orioles of
the Metro West Adult Baseball League, it was their second CCC championship, back to back, in 7 years at the tournament.
Eric Cormier and Al Dayhoff were the Orioles' tournament co-MVP's. Cormier had a win in Game 2 after pitching 8 innings
and closed out the Championship game. Dayhoff was a warrior all weekend catching every inning in the 5 game tournament,
threw out 3 runners attempting to steal second base, had several hits and was hit by 3 pitches.
