With the 2005 season ready to start on April 24th, the off-season has officially come to an end!
There are no new rules for the 2005 season. The league continues to operate smoothly thanks to
the efforts during Paul Valentino's reign as league president. Every player in the league has
benefited from Paul's efforts over the years to get the league to its current position.
This will be the twelfth season for the league. 2005 will be the sixth season which we have 10
teams. Two teams in particular, the Cubs and Phillies are entering their 10 seasons in the league!
Only the Yankees and Cardinals have been in the league for all 12 seasons.
As in our previous seasons, we will have holiday weekends off for Mother's Day, Memorial Day,
Independence Day and Labor Day. I look forward to another tremendous season and hope all players
and their families have a healthy and enjoyable season!
